Athletic Honors and Recognition

Dr. Michael M. Krop Athletics Department is very pleased to announce the following honors and awards.

• Alex Knight - Chosen to the National High School All-American Team (Tennis). Overall State Champion in tennis. All-Dade First Team Selection.

• Cassie Pough - Chosen to the National High School All-American Team (Tennis). All-Dade First Team Selection. Signed a full scholarship to play for the University of Louisville.

• Keon Roman - All-Dade First Team Selection.

• GMAC Champions - Girls' Tennis

• District Champions - Girls' Tennis, Boys' Tennis, Girls' Basketball, Boys' Cross Country, Boys' Track & Field.

• Distritct Runner Ups - Boys' Water Polo, Girls' Water Polo, Girls' Track & Field

Athletic Insurance

Per M-DCPS policy, students participating in interscholastic athletic competition must purchase school insurance. The cost of athletic insurance for the 2012-2013 school year is as follows.
